Mineral Oil (also called liquid paraffin) is one of the most commonly used oil. It is a non-toxic, non-drying oil that has no colour, taste, or natural odour. Its properties prevent water absorption, which makes this food grade mineral oil a popular choice to use on wooden items. It is the best oil to use as a finish on your wooden chopping boards, wooden Cheese platters, bread boards, butches' boards, wooden spoons and utensils etc. This white mineral oil is of high quality and is food grade safe.

How to finish: make sure your cutting board is thoroughly clean and completely dry. Dribble a thin layer of mineral oil all over the wood, then use a paper towel to rub it in. Oil both sides of the cutting board as well as the edges.
